About the location. The town of Sveti Vlas is situated on the southern coast of Bulgaria, at the foot of the Stara Planina mountain, which is why the air changes more than 300 times a day. Previously there was a respiratory sanatorium in Sveti Vlas; the sanatorium is no longer there, but the air remains and has an excellent effect on the immune system, being rich in iodine and phytoncides.
Another attractive feature of this town is that in the central part of the resort there is the magnificent Marina Dinevi yacht harbour, with a promenade along the pier. In summer, water transport runs to Nessebar.
Sveti Vlas has all the necessary infrastructure, which operates all year round, including coastal transport links, and Burgas Airport is only 30km away.
The local population lives here year-round, including foreign citizens who have moved to Bulgaria for permanent residence.
