In a quiet area of Sunny Beach, away from the noisy discos, casinos and popular restaurants, sits the small and tidy Ohrid complex. The complex consists of a six-storey residential building constructed in a modern style. It is distinguished from the surrounding buildings by its light-coloured facade, absence of ornate forms, and understated design. 

Within the grounds of the complex there is a small swimming pool. The territory is clean and features green landscaping. The building itself has a lift. There is round-the-clock security. Act 16 has been obtained. 
Ohrid is located approximately 800 metres from the sea. The nearest beach is Kiki Beach. Not far away is Cacao Beach, well known for its excellent beach infrastructure. That said, whichever beach in Sunny Beach you choose, you will find soft golden sand, a gentle entry into the sea, superb bars and restaurants, and the opportunity to hire sports and beach equipment everywhere.

The infrastructure of the area where the Ohrid complex is situated includes beauty salons, children's playgrounds, a park and restaurants. A little further away there are sports grounds, interest clubs, a tennis court and a water park. 

The nearest supermarket to the complex is located 400 metres away. Closer by there are small shops selling all the essentials. 

An advantage of Ohrid is its proximity to public transport stops and taxi ranks. From the complex you can easily and quickly reach Burgas, Nessebar and Sveti Vlas. Buses run regularly from the bus station to Varna, and in summer also to Sofia.

The apartments in Ohrid are suitable for permanent residence and for long-term rental. However, it should be remembered that not many shops and restaurants in Sunny Beach operate year-round. Most open only for the summer and close in September–October until the new season. It is worth noting that more and more people are moving to Sunny Beach permanently, and as a result many shops and pharmacies are switching to year-round operation. 

That said, many of the families and pensioners living in Ohrid regularly travel to Nessebar and Sveti Vlas. In these towns they work, and the children study, attend nursery school and take part in extracurricular activities.  Large supermarkets are open here all year round, and there are banks, notary offices, administrative services, hospitals, schools and nurseries. 

Property in the Ohrid complex: types of apartments

Property buyers will find apartments in the complex to suit every taste and budget. The six-storey building offers for sale:

• Studios. On entering a studio apartment, you step into a small hallway with space for a shoe and outerwear cabinet. From the hallway you can walk through to the living room and the bathroom. The living room has space for kitchen furniture and appliances, including a sink and a washing machine.  It can be fitted out with soft furnishings, a dining set and an additional bed. The area of the studios is 29–30 sq. m.
• Two-room apartments are sold with either one or two balconies. The rooms are separate. There is a hallway. The bathroom is quite spacious, with room to install a shower cubicle. The bedroom is comfortable and cosy. The living room is fitted with a kitchen corner, a relaxation area and a dining area. Two-room apartments in Ohrid are the most common type of property. There are three such apartments on each floor. Their area is 68–70 sq. m.
• Three-room apartments are spacious, bright and feature a convenient layout. From a large hallway you can walk through to the living room and two bedrooms. Each room has access to a large shared balcony. One of the bedrooms has its own separate small and comfortable balcony. The apartment has one combined bathroom fitted with a shower cubicle. Space for kitchen furniture and a dining area is set aside in the living room. The total area of the apartment is up to 240 sq. m.

Prices for apartments in the Ohrid complex

Bulgaria Avenue offers budget-friendly property in the Ohrid residential complex. The average price is 660 euros per sq. m.

As in most complexes, the most expensive apartments are the two-room ones. The price of an apartment with an area of 68 sq. m reaches 52,000 euros. On average, a square metre costs 698 euros.

Three-room apartments are slightly cheaper, with an average square-metre price of 671 euros. A huge apartment with two bedrooms and two balconies can be bought for 160,000 euros.

Small, cosy studios will cost buyers 17,500–18,000 euros. This is one of the best offers in Sunny Beach, where for some time now it has been difficult to find a studio apartment with a square-metre price of less than 800 euros.
