Property Demand Trends in Byala and Price per m²

Buying an apartment in Byala is becoming increasingly accessible.

In 2006–2008, foreign investors became interested in the town, and construction of residential buildings without maintenance fees and apart-complexes began. Active demand from foreigners from former CIS countries for studios and apartments in Byala in gated complexes within walking distance of the sea was very high. Prices per m² reached €1,500–1,600. The resort was developing rapidly, being transformed by new Mediterranean-style buildings.

In 2013–2014, construction slowed and demand for primary-market apartments began to fall, so prices dropped rapidly, and buying an apartment in Byala, Bulgaria, became easier. Already by 2016–2017, the cost per m² had fallen by around 20–30%. This was due to changing demand. Both locals and foreigners began to prefer larger coastal towns.

At the moment, it's more profitable to buy resale property in Byala than from developers. Price per m² is €700. If you affordably buy a resale property in Byala with existing finishes, you can save even more.

If you're planning to buy a house by the sea in Byala, the cost is around €125,000 and up.
